Our South Euclid-Lyndhurst Schools have placed a necessary levy on the Nov. 4 election ballot to keep our schools STRONG and ensure our district’s BRIGHT FUTURE.

The South Euclid-Lyndhurst schools unite our two communities by providing quality education for 3,000-plus students every day, preparing them for college and careers. We’re making progress, but our schools are aging and need lots of work.

The combined levy on the November ballot will fund repairs throughout the district and will allow the district to continue paying for day-to-day operations. South Euclid-Lyndhurst students must be educated in facilities that are safe, warm, and dry.

 YOUR VOTES WILL:

• Fund necessary HVAC repairs at all district buildings

• Upgrade boilers and infrastructure at all buildings, including Brush High School, which is nearly 100 years old.

• Provide needed repairs to Brush’s Performing Arts Center, where the ceilings began falling during a performance this past spring.

State and federal funding to SEL schools have remained flat, while expenses have skyrocketed. SEL students won’t get the skills they need if our schools can’t keep up with the increased expenses of basic education.

It’s up to US to make sure our schools are funded to continue preparing South Euclid and Lyndhurst children for bright futures.
